Peter Hancock – Director of Business Operations
After 15 years in recruiting and account management roles with national staffing firms, Peter and Brad co-founded Professional Employment Group of Colorado in 2019. In addition to running PEG operations, Peter is passionate about his role on numerous non-profit and workforce development boards where he strives to make Denver a great place to work and do business. Growing up in Wyoming and Montana, Peter developed a love for skiing, biking, running, golf and, now, chasing after his kids. He graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder with an emphasis in Finance.
Brad Hemmer – Talent acquisition consultant
Originally from Illinois, Brad moved to Colorado in 2012 and started his recruiting career with a national staffing firm. In 2019, Brad co-founded Professional Employment Group of Colorado with Peter. With a focus on detail and customer service, Brad is committed to helping both candidates and clients find the perfect match. When not recruiting Brad loves snowboarding, baseball, trips to Steamboat, and visiting family in Chicago. He graduated from Loras College in Dubuque, IA with a degree in Business Management.
Josh Bacon – talent acquisition consultant
A Denver native, Josh has expertise in the field of IT for Fortune 500 banking and healthcare organizations. He applied this expertise when he began his recruiting career for a large nationwide staffing company in 2017. Since then, Josh has developed an expertise in recruiting for engineering and manufacturing. Spending most of his free time outdoors, Josh is passionate about snowboarding, hiking, spending time with friends and family, as well as riding motorcycles and dirt bikes. Josh received his Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of Colorado Denver and a Masters of Industrial & Organizational Psychology from Colorado State University.
Magdalena altman – Director of client relations
Magdalena has over 10 years of experience as a top performer in consultative sales, talent acquisition, account management, and business development. A relentless problem-solver and relationship-builder, she is a true “mama-bear” at heart and strives to build meaningful relationships that serve the best interests of her clients. Magdalena finds inspiration in her romanian roots and spends her free time reading, enjoying time with her children, and being an advocate for women in the community.
Jacee Elbeck – manager of talent acquisition
Jacee started her professional career as corporate recruiter in Manufacturing but has since moved over to Engineering and Information Technology recruiting. She has a passion for recruiting and loves helping people find a job they feel just as passionate about. Outside of the office, Jacee is a mom to three amazing teenage daughters that keep her extremely busy. On weekends , they enjoy sporting events, concerts, dining at one of Denver’s many amazing restaurants, or just relaxing with their little puppy Josephine at home.
Shay Giles – Director of HR & Operations
A native of Colorado, Shay has been PEG’s Director of HR & Operations since its founding. She is the primary support for HR, payroll, benefits administration and she supports the operations department with her strong leadership and business acumen. Shay is a mother of 5 children and she received a Bachelor of Arts from CU Denver ad she has an MBA in Business and an MBA in Human Resources. Shay enjoys collaborating with companies in the community with board and council involvement along with partnering for events and expansion opportunities.
Austin Fanning – Business Development Manager
Originally from Maryland, Austin started his career off by taking on his national duty and joined the United States Army as a communication specialist. In his four year contract, he was stationed in Georgia, Washington state and performed a one year tour overseas in Afghanistan. After moving to Colorado in 2019, he began his staffing career with an international staffing firm in Denver. With a focus on detail driven success and customer service, Austin is committed to empowering companies by delivering top talent through community engagement, and innovative solutions. Outside of work Austin has a deep passion for the mountains. From backcountry snowboarding, dirtbike riding and mountain climbing, he enjoys to push his boundaries and continues to grow anyway he can.

tiffany staley – hr admin
Tiffany was born in Seattle, Washington but spent many years in Southern Californian before moving to Denver 5 years ago. She played collegiate basketball for Hope Internal University and earned two Associates Degrees; one in Business Administration and one in Interdisciplinary Studies with an emphasis in Science and Mathematics. She started her career working as a CNA for 7 years before making the switch to Human Resources. She is a diehard fan of the Denver Broncos and bleeds The Orange and Blue.
